Ice Spice is adding fragrance to her growing list of creative projects with the launch of In Ha Mood, a scent inspired in part by memories from her childhood. In discussing the release, the rapper said scent plays an important role in memory and explained that vanilla has a particularly personal connection for her.
She shared that her mother often used vanilla fragrances around the home while she was growing up, making the scent something she still associates with comfort and familiarity. That connection helped shape the fragrance, which launched in August through a collaboration with Revlon.
In Ha Mood combines vanilla with floral notes including plum blossom, rose, and magnolia. The name comes from Ice Spice’s song of the same title, linking the perfume to a track already familiar to her fans.
Ice Spice said both the song and the fragrance connect to a sense of confidence. The project also gives her another way to explore personal style while continuing her work in music.
