Beyonce‘s childhood home in Houston, Texas, went up in flames early Christmas morning.
The Houston Fire Department told ABC13 they received a call at about 2 a.m. and when firefighters arrived at the 2400 block of Rosedale Street, the “second story was already fully engulfed in flames.” The current residents escaped safely.
Beyoncé and her family moved out of the home dozens of years ago, but it was still seen as a landmark and she visited the house during her Renaissance World Tour.
The home can be seen in several shots in her video for “Grown Woman.”
