Ella Langley continues to make music history as her hit single “Choosin’ Texas” spends a record-extending 26th nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The latest chart, dated November 7, confirms another milestone for the country singer. Billboard announced that the song has now topped the Hot 100 during nine different calendar months, setting another record for the chart.

“Choosin’ Texas” first reached No. 1 in February 2026 and has remained a major presence across streaming, radio, and digital sales. Its success has also extended beyond country music, reaching listeners across multiple formats.

The single previously surpassed Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which held the Hot 100 record with 22 weeks at No. 1.

Langley’s song also continues to lead the Hot Country Songs chart, extending its run to 47 weeks. It has additionally returned to No. 1 on Digital Song Sales for a 20th week.

With 26 weeks at the summit, “Choosin’ Texas” holds the longest-running No. 1 record in the Billboard Hot 100’s history, dating back to 1958.
