The 2026 Tony Awards brought a full night of Broadway celebration to Radio City Music Hall, with P!nk hosting the 79th annual ceremony on Sunday, June 7. The show opened with a playful Broadway rewrite of “Lady Marmalade,” featuring a large group of guest performers and setting a lively tone for the evening.

Inside the venue, the ceremony mixed major production numbers with emotional acceptance speeches and anniversary tributes. The night included performances honoring long-running stage favorites, including Chicago and The Book of Mormon, while the press room offered quieter moments with winners reflecting on their work, influences, and next steps.

Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman led the awards with six wins. Schmigadoon!, The Lost Boys, and Ragtime followed with four wins each, making the night a broad showcase for both plays and musicals.

Away from the cameras, the event carried the usual mix of quick reunions, backstage congratulations, and candid reactions that often shape the feel of Broadway’s biggest night.
