On April 25, Colombian urban artist Ryan Castro performed his first-ever stadium show at the Estadio Atanasio Girardot in Medellin, drawing a crowd of 47,000 people for the homecoming finale of his Sende World Tour.

Castro, who grew up in Pedregal, a working-class neighborhood in northeast Medellin, opened the show with a cinematic entrance, appearing on screen aboard a National Police helicopter before stepping onto the main stage in a yellow suit, holding a microphone styled after the colors of a Curacao sunset. The production pulled from his full catalog, blending reggaeton, dancehall, and island sounds across both a main stage and a second platform he reached by riding a jet ski over the crowd.

Guest appearances included Sean Paul, who performed alongside Castro on the BA BA BAD remix and played several of his own classics. Colombian artists Mora, Hamilton, Jorge Celedon, and Zion also joined the night’s lineup.

The tour had already hit Madrid and Bogota before closing in Medellin. Next stops include Lima on May 2 and Santiago on May 13.
