London’s Hyde Park is preparing for a “sea of lookalikes” this summer as Pitbull officially announces an ambitious attempt to break a Guinness World Record. During his headlining performance at BST Hyde Park on Friday, July 10, 2026, the Miami rapper will lead a quest to secure the title for the “largest gathering of people wearing bald caps.”

The offbeat idea was championed by BBC Radio 1 Breakfast host Greg James, who texted the singer with the challenge live on air. Pitbull quickly embraced the concept, responding, “Guinness World Records, get ready for all the Bald-E’s who’ll be putting it down on July 10.” The move builds on a viral fan-led trend in which audiences, now affectionately known as “The Bald-E’s,” have been attending his shows in bald caps, aviator sunglasses, and sharp suits.

To make the record official, participants must follow strict Guinness guidelines: all bald caps must be securely fitted with hair tucked entirely underneath, and the crowd must remain in position simultaneously for at least one minute. An official adjudicator will be on site to verify the final count.

The record-breaking attempt adds a unique spectacle to an already high-profile summer lineup. Pitbull will be joined on the night by special guest Kesha, marking a major reunion for the “Timber” duo. As ticket holders prepare to don the latex, the event is being hailed as the biggest stage yet for one of modern music’s most lighthearted fan-driven phenomena.
