Lana Del Rey’s performance at the second weekend of Coachella went beyond the festival’s curfew by 13 minutes, resulting in a $28,000 fine from the city of Indio, California. However, this is the only fine Coachella faced for their 2024 weekends, a significant improvement compared to the $117,000 in fines they received for the first weekend of the 2023 event.

Prior to Coachella, Del Rey faced her own drama with a behind-the-scenes conflict. She thanked someone named Emily for stepping up after her previous tour manager Pete quit unexpectedly. Del Rey expressed gratitude for their 15 years of work together, but mentioned the challenges the sudden departure caused. “No worries – 37 days was more than enough time to put together an entire headlining set all by ourselves,” she wrote. “Not stressful at all.”
