TONY GANIOS DIES AT 64: Deadline reports that Porky‘s actor Tony Ganios passed away on Sunday (February 18th) at the age of 64. His fiancée, Amanda Serrano-Ganios, said he was hospitalized in New York on Saturday (February 17th) with a spinal cord infection and died the following day due to heart failure. Gainos appeared in The Wanderers, Continental Divide, and Die Hard 2. He also appeared on series such as Scarecrow and Mrs. King and The Equalizer.
CHECK OUT THE NEW TRAILER FOR ‘CIVIL WAR:’ According to The Hollywood Reporter, A24 released the second official trailer for Civil War on Tuesday (February 20th). The film, which stars Nick Offerman as the president and Kirsten Dunst as a photojournalist, follows a violent civil war in the United States after 19 states seceded from the Union. “The Western forces of Texas and California are welcome back to these United States as soon as their illegal secessionist government is deposed,” Offerman’s character says in the trailer, which also shows the Lincoln Memorial being blown up. Civil War is set to reach theaters on April 26th.

VANESSA WILLIAMS TO PLAY MIRANDA PRIESTLY IN ‘THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’ MUSICAL: Variety reports that Vanessa Williams is set to star as fictional Runway editor Miranda Priestly in the musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada. The Ugly Betty actor told the outlet in a statement, “Bringing Miranda Priestly to life in the West End is an absolute dream come true. Gird your loins, folks.” The show will feature a score by Elton John and will premiere at London’s Dominion Theatre in October. Meryl Streep starred as Miranda Priestly in the 2006 film and received an Academy Award nomination for the role.
